Why no upfront fee

Pay after,
not before.

A personal note on why I work this way, and what it means for you.

Why I work this way

01

No strings attached

When you pay before a session, it often comes with strings attached. The moment money changes hands, many people start expecting too much, too quickly, and feel pressure to “get their money’s worth.” That pressure brings anxiety into the room.

This work begins with calm. I would much rather you arrive relaxed and open, with nothing to prove and nothing already spent, so we can simply focus on you.

02

Some changes can’t be priced

I honestly can’t put a price on the change a session might bring. For one person it may feel like a small shift. For another, it may change how they live, work or love for years to come.

Only you can know what it was worth to you, so I leave that choice in your hands.

03

Trust, in both directions

Working this way creates a very different kind of energy. I trust you to value the session honestly, and you can trust that my only focus is on helping you, not on a sale.

For me, a positive, honest relationship with each person I work with matters more than anything else. Paying after is simply how I protect that.

“The relationship I build with each person I work with is what I value most. Everything else follows from that.”

In practice

How paying afterwards works

  • Nothing upfront

Applying, our 15-minute call and booking are all free. No deposit, no card on file — and that stays true however many sessions you need.

  • You choose the amount

After your session, pay whatever feels right for the value it has brought to your life. There is no wrong amount.

  • In your own time

Pay right after your session, or within a week or so once you’ve had time to notice the difference.

  • Simple and private

Pay by e-Transfer, credit or debit. You’ll receive a receipt, and your amount stays between us.

Not sure what to pay?

A few gentle questions

Choosing your own amount can feel unfamiliar. If it helps, take a quiet moment after your session and ask yourself:

  1. i.What has this session meant to me?
  2. ii.What difference might it make in my life over time?
  3. iii. What can I comfortably and gladly give?

What I ask in return

A shared commitment

Trust works both ways. In return, I simply ask that you:

  • Come with an open mind and an honest wish to change.
  • Keep your appointment, or let me know 24 hours ahead if you can’t.
  • Practise anything I share with you between sessions.
  • Pay what feels fair to you, within a week or so of your session.

Why I review each request

A small number, given full attention

Because I work this way, I keep my practice small. I read every request personally and reach out to the people I feel I can best support right now.

Not everyone will be selected for a session. It is never a judgment of you. Sometimes the timing isn’t right, or another kind of support would serve you better, and when that’s the case I’ll try to point you in a helpful direction.

Ready to begin?

Share a little about yourself. There’s nothing to pay until after your session.
