The ritual
The end of the workday, Friday evenings, cooking dinner, the game on TV. Certain moments start to feel incomplete without a drink in your hand.
Understanding the challenge
Over time, drinking becomes tangled up with how you relax, connect and cope. Understanding those links is often the first step to changing them.
The end of the workday, Friday evenings, cooking dinner, the game on TV. Certain moments start to feel incomplete without a drink in your hand.
Stress, loneliness, boredom or the need to quiet a busy mind. Alcohol can feel like the quickest way to take the edge off, until it starts to cost more than it gives.
Invitations, celebrations and the friend who says “just one.” Saying no can feel awkward, even when part of you really wants to.
How hypnotherapy can help
In a relaxed, focused state, we explore the moments and feelings that lead to a drink, and gently loosen their automatic hold.
Together we find calmer ways to switch off, celebrate and connect, so you’re not relying on a glass to do it for you.
We connect you with your own reasons for change, and rehearse the moments that matter, like confidently saying “not tonight.”
When it feels supportive, I may also weave in Reiki, a gentle energy practice that many people find deeply relaxing, to help you settle into a calm, receptive state.
If you drink heavily or every day, or use other substances regularly, stopping suddenly can cause withdrawal that may be dangerous. Please speak with your doctor before you cut down. Hypnotherapy is a complementary approach and is not a replacement for medical care or addiction treatment.
What to expect
We talk openly about your drinking, what it gives you, what you’ve tried and what you’d like to change. There’s no judgment here. Then I guide you into hypnosis tailored to your goals.
Changing a long-standing habit often takes more than one session. We go at your pace and decide together how many feel right.
You’ll leave with simple techniques to use when an urge or a tricky situation comes up.
Pay after, not before
Applying and our 15-minute call are free. After each session, you pay whatever feels right for the value it has brought to your life — right away, or within a week or so.

No. Some people want to stop; others want to drink less, or only on certain occasions. We work toward the goal that feels right for you.
No. Hypnotherapy is a complementary approach. If you’re living with a substance use disorder or experiencing withdrawal, please work with your doctor or an addiction service. Hypnotherapy can be one part of your support.
Hypnotherapy can support you in changing habits around other substances too. We’ll talk about your situation on your free call, and I may ask you to check with your doctor first.
That’s not a failure. Change is rarely a straight line. We look at what happened, with kindness, and use it to strengthen the next step.
Share a little about yourself and what you’d like to change. I read every request personally.
